Where We Are: Sidhpur, Dharamshala
The Divine Hima sits in Sidhpur, directly opposite the Norbulingka Institute, in the quiet green belt between Dharamshala town and the Dhauladhar range. It is the calm side of Dharamshala — pine, birdsong and mountain views — while McLeod Ganj, the HPCA cricket stadium and the monasteries are all a short drive away.

How to Reach Us
By air. Gaggal Airport (DHM, Kangra Airport) is roughly 9 km away, about 20 minutes by road — the shortest airport transfer of any hotel in the Dharamshala area. There are daily flights from Delhi. Tell us your flight number and we will arrange a pickup.
By train. Pathankot (about 90 km, 3 hours) is the nearest broad-gauge railhead, with direct trains from Delhi and Amritsar. The narrow-gauge Kangra Valley toy train stops at Kangra Mandir, about 20 km away — slow, but one of the loveliest rail journeys in India.
By road. Overnight Volvo buses run from Delhi (ISBT Kashmere Gate and Majnu ka Tila) to Dharamshala in 10 to 12 hours. Ask to be dropped at Sidhpur or Norbulingka rather than continuing to McLeod Ganj — we are before the town, not above it. Driving from Delhi takes 11 to 12 hours via Chandigarh and Una.
Landmark for your driver. Say “Norbulingka Institute, Sidhpur” — every local driver knows it. We are directly opposite the gate.

Why Stay in Sidhpur Rather than McLeod Ganj
McLeod Ganj is where most visitors book, and it is worth a day of anyone’s trip. But it is steep, crowded and noisy, parking is a genuine problem, and the mountain views are often the back of another guesthouse. Sidhpur is the opposite: open valley views of the Dhauladhar, room to breathe, easy parking at the door, and a ten-minute drive up whenever you want the cafes and the temple.
It also puts you next to the things people actually travel here for — Norbulingka’s craft workshops across the road, Gyuto Monastery down the lane, and the tea gardens and day trips of the Kangra valley on your side of the mountain rather than the far side of the traffic.
